Kinomiya Jinja

There is a 26 meters of giant camphor tree, which dates back over 2000 years which stands behind the shrine and it was registered as a natural monument in 1933. It has been believed that gods inhabits in giant trees, rocks and waterfalls, and therefore, the tree has long been cherished in Atami.
