What is “Atami Satori Honten”?

O-no-cha” is a special drink that contains twice as much matcha as “usucha” (thin tea) and is kneaded into a thick powder to give it its original freshness and mild flavor. The “Atami Satori Honten” specialty store for o-no-cha sweets was established with the hopes of “introducing more young people to the appeal of o-no-cha,” which has been handed down from ancient times as “tea for important hospitality,” and “enlivening Atami with a new type of matcha sweet. The “Atami Satori Honten” is a specialty store specializing in green tea sweets.
Marushichi Seicha, a long-established tea company with a history of over 110 years in business, has been particular about the roasting time, temperature, and production area of its original blend of Shizuoka Prefecture matcha “Satori,” which it blends exclusively for this store, so that the original color, aroma, and flavor of matcha can be fully appreciated in sweets. We are a specialty store specializing in “o-no-cha sweets” using our original blend of Shizuoka Prefecture matcha “Satori,” which we prepared exclusively for our shop.
You can enjoy a variety of “o-no-cha sweets” made with o-no-cha tea kneaded in the store, which maximizes the taste of matcha green tea.
